ERNA with Burbank Housing signed 5-10-24

Upon receiving approval from the MHA Board of Commissioners at the April 23rd meeting, MHA has signed the Exclusive Right to Negotiate Agreement "...to implement a predevelopment and planning process to work toward the goal of rehabilitation of the site [Golden Gate Village]…" The Board approval letter and the final executed agreement may be downloaded below. NEWS RELEASE: MARIN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS UNANIMOUSLY APPROVES $2 MILLION RESIDENT INVESTMENT FUND FOR GOLDEN GATE VILLAGE (marinhousing.org)


Resolution  No. 11-2022 - Adopted 11/15/2022


On November 15, 2022, the MHA Board adopted Resolution No. 11-2022 to accept rehabilitation as the preferred plan for revitalization and recapitalization of Golden Gate Village (GGV) to include proceeding with an RFQ for a developer partner, establishing a GGV resident endowment fund, preserving participation through a Resident Council agreement, and exploring an anti-displacement ordinance with the County of Marin.
