Upon receiving approval from the MHA Board of Commissioners at the April 23rd meeting, MHA has signed the Exclusive Right to Negotiate Agreement "...to implement a predevelopment and planning process to work toward the goal of rehabilitation of the site [Golden Gate Village]…" The Board approval letter and the final executed agreement may be downloaded below. Resolution No. 11-2022 - Adopted 11/15/2022
On November 15, 2022, the MHA Board adopted Resolution No. 11-2022 to accept rehabilitation as the preferred plan for revitalization and recapitalization of Golden Gate Village (GGV) to include proceeding with an RFQ for a developer partner, establishing a GGV resident endowment fund, preserving participation through a Resident Council agreement, and exploring an anti-displacement ordinance with the County of Marin.

The Marin Housing Authority (MHA) Community Working Group (CWG) had created a public forum to discuss activities and produce an innovative vision for enhanced and improved affordable housing as well as enriching the life of community members and stakeholders that provide programs and services that support them.
