HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE COUNTY OF MARIN  ANNOUNCES THE OPENING OF THE PROJECT-BASED VOUCHER (PBV) WAITING LIST FOR THE VIVALON HEALTHY AGING CAMPUS

Opening May 1, 2023 at 10 AM, and Closing May 19, 2023, pre-applications will be accepted for this property ONLY:

TO APPLY, YOU MUST BE 62 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. ALL NON-ELDERLY APPLICATIONS WILL BE REJECTED.

Eligible seniors will be referred to units subsidized with Section 8 Project-Based Vouchers from the Marin Housing Authority in partnership with the non-profit housing owners. The housing assistance is only available at the designated property for seniors meeting the income restrictions indicated below. After 12 months of residency, participants will be eligible for a Housing Choice Voucher, subject to availability. 

This project provides new and affordable housing for seniors aged 62 and above. The Vivalon Healthy Aging Campus is a mixed-used development that includes 66 units and a 18,000 square-foot healthy aging center for older adults in downtown San Rafael at 999 Third St.  It consists of 50 studios and 16 1-bedroom apartments for low-income seniors earning a maximum of 30% to 60% of the area median income.
