PRE-PURCHASE CERTIFICATION WORKSHOP

Fair Housing Advocates of Northern California
In collaboration with Marin Housing and other agencies in the Bay Area offering affordable housing and resources for homebuyers
Topics to be covered include:
- The homebuying process and steps to homeownership
- Housing affordability
- Financial and credit management
- The lending process and fair lending
- Federal, state, and local programs and resources for first-time homebuyers (including Below Market Rate homeownership opportunities and downpayment assistance)
HUD Certification:
- This workshop offers the certificate needed to apply for Below Market Rate (BMR) homeownership opportunities and for first-time homebuyer assistance programs.
- Participants need to attend both dates and fulfill all requirements to obtain a HUD Certificate. More details at registration.
